Today was Baldwin "Clean up Day". As a Church, we were able to serve our community, by helping out with trash pickup and afterward feeding some 80 to 90 people a hotdog lunch. The mayor officially declared the City of Baldwin, to be squeaky clean! (for a little while, at least....give those chronic litterers an hour or two!)

I'm grateful, I was able to participate in serving lunch. You always get such a blessing, when serving others. There have been several opportunities lately, to serve others.

As you all know, Bill & Peggy got themselves a horse. Ed, Tony, Bill & his bro-in-law worked on putting them up a barn today. Pastor Craig even showed up over there after we finished with Clean Up Baldwin Day. You know Craig, "The Tool Man, More POWER" Lee isn't going to miss an opportunity to play with power tools!! HA!HA! Fortunately, we had enough hotdogs left over, that we could take some to that crew & had enough to take some to Mike & Shirley. Mike had Knee replacement surgery, last Monday and came home from the hospital yesterday. Ol' Mike was grinning from ear to ear, when he saw Jerry's famous hotdogs! Was that a welcome home meal or what?!? Mike's working hard to get that knee rehabbed, he's ready to get back to church! You guy's give him a call or shoot him an e-mail to encourage him along! SHHH! (He has a birthday, next Friday, too!) You didn't hear that from me!

I'm awestruck by, God's goodness, for the church family, he has put in my path!

If you are reading this and you have a need for a non-judgemental, Christ centered, loving church home, I invite you to check out Fellowship Church, Baldwin, GA. See our website at www.myfcb.org
